I created a newsletter for staff that covered resources and steps for effective Data PLC as well as Planning PLC. I sent both newsletters out bi-weekly to keep staff updated and informed on best practices as it related to our PLC activity.

I was very involved in the hiring and recruitment process of teachers. I participating on the interview panel in addition to checking references. It was a holistic experience in hiring new staff and personnel. I learned from this process that candidates don't always measure up to who they are on paper. I learned it is very important to get familiar with the candidate from information shared so that time can be maximized in determining if the candidate is a good fit for the school.

During my residency I conducted observations for teachers
and classified staff members. I also conducted
at least two educational learning walks every week which
allowed me to keep a pulse on instruction and staff
efficacy.
